Valentine’s Day is Sunday. Yes, this Sunday. If that snuck up on you, you’re not alone. And you still have plenty of options to make sure it’s a memorable evening for you and your valentine—or just you!

I don’t have a reservation yet!

There’s still time! Especially if you don’t mind celebrating a day or two early. Many restaurants have come up with Valentine’s Day specials, and since Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday this year, some have even extended those options to Friday and Saturday. Just to give you an idea: Café Hon in Hampden is offering a $1-each oyster bar Thursday-Saturday evenings. Make a reservation at Fogo de Chao in the Inner Harbor anytime through the weekend and receive a Valentine’s card for complimentary lunch or dinner on your next visit. The French Kitchen at Lord Baltimore Hotel downtown is offering its Valentine’s Day menu for $55 Friday-Sunday. And Alma Cocina Latina in Canton has a special menu for $80 per person available both weekend evenings.

My valentine and I are not really into having a big meal.

That’s cool. Baltimore has some pretty fun events happening as well. If you guys are big Animal Planet fans, there’s the excellently-named “Sex at the Zoo” event at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. If you’d rather dance the night away, Ottobar in Charles Village is hosting its third annual Valentine’s Day Dance Party to benefit Moveable Feast, an organization that provides food for those in need. And if you’d rather just be mostly naked the whole time, there’s Cupid’s Undie Run on Saturday afternoon.

But I don’t have a valentine this year…

No worries. If you just got out of a bad breakup and want to dance out the bad memories, the Howl at the Moon bar is hosting a Love Sux party, complete with live music and $6 ex-boyfriend cocktails. Bonus: bring in a torn or mutilated photo of your ex for free admission. If you don’t want to commit to just one bar all night, join other single-and-ready-to-mingle people at the V-Day Bar Crawl in Federal Hill. Or there’s always the ever-popular option of giving your heart over to Ben, Jerry and Netflix this Sunday—just because you can.

Happy Valentine’s Day, all!
