Andy Warhol was the master of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. From soup cans to Brillo boxes, he reimagined everyday items into centerpieces of conversation. Taking inspiration from his idiosyncratic play, I have reimagined your go to “spirit and soda” into an equally chic, but more engaging, sparkling cocktail. Cheers to you, Mr. Warhol!

1.5  ounce Bacardi Grapefruit rum

.5  ounce Art in the Age Sage spirit

Sparkling water

Fill a highball glass with ice, add Bacardi Grapefruit rum and Art in the Age Sage spirit. Fill with sparkling water and stir. Garnish with fresh pink grapefruit and fresh sage to taste.
