After so many seasons of watching him on “Project Runway,” it’s easy to forget that Michael Kors is actually a working designer. And now he’s opened his newest boutique across from Tiffany in Towson Town Center. “PR” fans know how important chic is to Michael, so it’s no surprise that the emphasis here is on timeless, sophisticated luxury. You’ll find handbags with a smattering of shoes, clothes and accessories. Grab a great tote, like the versatile Uptown Astor, in orange suede or go day into evening with a black Beverly clutch. Two key late-fall pieces at great prices? The double-breasted camel overcoat (just $250, and it’ll look great for years) and the Mongolian lamb fur vest (just $325 and it’ll look great until probably February, when you wonder how many more times you can wear something out in public that resembles a bathroom rug). Don’t miss: The fun, chunky watches in ceramic and horn (though Savvy thinks the rose golden oversized chronograph watch is the clear winner). Towson Town Center, level two, 410-583-2338
